Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
IMPORTANT: If you live in the Channel Islands, Northern Ireland, or the Scottish Highlands, please contact us before ordering any items from the store. There may be extra delivery charges required for your order.
We accept the following credit card and debit card payments.
We also accept Cheques and Postal Orders. Any goods paid for by Cheque or Postal Order, will be dispatched on receipt of cleared funds into our account.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Delivery Schedule
You will normally receive your order within 3-5 working days (Monday - Friday). Most of our products delivered will require a signature and operate from 9am-5pm weekdays only. We do not offer Saturday delivery and we are unable to specify morning or afternoon appointments. It is therefore important that someone is home to accept the delivery. If you are out, our couriers will leave a card for you to arrange a more convenient time.

Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
This is particularly important when ordering a parrot cage. As these cages are dispatched direct from the manufacturer we cannot guarantee the colour requested is in stock. In this instance we would email you and offer an alternative colour or refund.
Price and Product Descriptions
Every effort is made to ensure that the price and product descriptions shown on our site are accurate at the time you place your order. If an error is found, we will inform you as soon as possible and offer you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price/description or cancelling your order. If you cancel, we will refund or recredit you for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the goods.

For orders made from the UK 17.5% VAT is added and included on all listed prices.

Credit Card Security
We leave card payment processing to the experts. All credit and debit card transactions are processed by Protx Ltd. Protx Ltd is a fully approved payment processor with all major UK acquiring banks. Protx has multiple private links into the banking network that are completely separate from the Internet and which do not cross any publicly accessible networks. Any cardholder information sent to the banks and any authorisation message coming back is secure and cannot be tampered with. Your card details are never seen by any member of staff at For Pampered Pets. Unless in a very rare circumstance an item is paid for over the telephone. In this instance the details are entered directly into the payment processing system and not stored or available to For Pampered Pets once the transaction is processed. |
Returns Policy
We guarantee your satisfaction. All of our products come with a 14 day guarantee, excluding Parrot Cages, Monaco Beds and Wallace and Jones Beds. The Parrot Cages, Monaco Beds and Wallace and Jones Beds are delivered direct from the manufacturer and we are bound by their return conditions.
The Parrot Cages, Monaco Beds and Wallace and Jones Beds return conditions
* All goods should be examined on delivery and signed for. * Boxes which show any sign of having been tampered with, damaged or shortage must be signed for accordingly and written notice from you of this must be received within 3 days of delivery. * Telephone Claims for damage or shortage must be made by mid-day of the working day following the day of delivery. * Should you wish to return any goods purchased from us for whatever reason then written authority must first be obtained from us. * If a part of a cage is damaged on delivery, we will arrange for a replacement part to be dispatched. * Where the goods have been delivered in accordance with your order in good condition then we reserve the right to refuse to accept the return of such goods. * If a return is accepted, the packaging must be in its original unused condition. * Where return is accepted in such a case then a 20% handling charge will be deducted from the amount credited. * Please ensure that all your measurements are correct, some of the cages we sell are very large.
Other Returns - Non Faulty Goods (Unwanted)
We know you will be very pleased with your purchases from For Pampered Pets. However, if there is an occasion when you would like to return your purchase (an unwanted gift or its not what you were expecting), please follow the procedures below:
* Notify us by post or email within 7 days. Contact details can be found on our Contact Us Page.
* All non faulty returns must be in there original unopened packaging.
* Please include our invoice with the item you are return.
* Please use a secure delivery method which requires a signature upon receipt (such as Royal Mail Recorded Delivery). We will not be liable for any returns that are lost in the post.
Once we have checked the item is in its original condition, we will refund your money (excluding any postage paid). We are unable to refund any postage costs on non faulty items.
Other Returns - Faulty/Damaged Goods
At For Pampered Pets we quality check all items before dispatch and do our best to ensure all items are packaged securely. If in the unfortunate instance an item is received in a damaged or faulty condition, please follow the procedures below:

* Please return the item with its packaging and invoice.
* Please use a secure delivery method which requires a signature upon receipt (such as Royal Mail Recorded Delivery). We will not be liable for any returns that are lost in the post.
Once we have checked the item is faulty/damaged, we will refund your money or replace the item if it is in stock.
Unfortunately personalized items, products made to order and perishables are final sale and cannot be exchanged.
